Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen

Another early rise in late March took me to a small lake situated not too far from my home in Willaston with the idea of a silhouetted reflections shot before the new growth of spring appeared and started to greatly change the outlook of our ever-growing surroundings.

Due to a busy workload my spare time was very limited at present so it was a case of getting out when I could rather than when I wanted.
With a spare few hours found I had put together a small plan and set my alarm for 5 a.m on a cold Wednesday spring morning. Waking up and looking out of my window I was greeted with conditions that I would describe as Hopeful. The sky was filled with dark clouds but the horizon was changing rapidly by the minute and there was huge gaps of light beginning to show itself in the distance. I was now faced with the photographers 5.15 a.m conundrum, do I, or don’t I??

As already mentioned with spare time being scarce I had decided to load my van and give it a go. On route to destination and things were now starting to get interesting. Its always a lovely feeling to believe that your efforts for early morning shoots are about to be rewarded and as photographers we must always believe that something wonderful is about to happen. Experience has taught me that I would rather go and be disappointed than leave it and miss out.

Once again very happy with how mother nature had rewarded me my love for this fantastic pastime just gets stronger and stronger.
